As the Gospels testify, Jesus performed 37 miracles, 23 of which were acts of healing—from making the blind see and the mute hear to raising the
dead. He cured the leper, the widow, and the wealthy alike, without discrimination. He understood that physical well-being is a prerequisite for social and spiritual well-being, and He associated divinity with the ministry of healing. He set the benchmark for this ministry.
