The Seeds and the Soils

Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time 12 July 2026
Isaiah 55:10-11 Romans 8:18-23 Matthew 13:1-23

T oday’s readings speak to us about the seedof God’s Word. In the first reading, the Lord says through the prophet Isaiah: “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return without watering the earth,  so shall my word be.” God’s Word is like rain. It does not come empty. It comes with life, grace, power,  and hope.
