“Aavjo Joe”! A tribute to Fr Joseph Mattam, SJ (1936-2022)

Fr. Joseph Mattam was called to his eternal reward on 29 May 2022! Though he was eighty-five years, his death leaves a deep void in Church and Country.
Everyone called him either ‘Joe’ or ‘Mattam’; he often winced when he was referred to as ‘father’.
