All those who have watched this film will understand why Pope Leo picked it as one of his four favourite films. We have already discussed the first
three. This is the fourth. Called ‘Ordinary People’, it is an extraordinary film about the invisible undercurrents in the life of a family. An unexpected tragedy happens and, all of a sudden, all those undercurrents get exposed, plunging everyone into turmoil.
